Mathblaster!!

Jumping back to earlier in December here.... this month's blogs will just have to be all out of order.
So this is the part where I get to brag on my girl -- it is called www.bragspot.com, right? ;)  Well, she worked hard for it, and passed the 3rd-grade level Math Blasters (speed drills) - woo-hoooo!   She's the only 2nd-grader who has made it to that level this soon in the year - go Emma!
I'll try to post these videos, they're not the best - these assemblies are so much fun!  The PE coach announces all the math blaster winners like they're the starting line-up for the Suns, music & all, and everyone cheers & goes crazy for them (yes, for being great at MATH!)  Most of the winners shuffle through all the high-fives and then RUN up and JUMP onto the stage for their award - so fun!  The video shows the kid announced after Emma doing that - Emma was a little more reserved :).  In the 2nd video you can see the end of the assembly where they make an arch for the winners to run through.  One of the many reasons we just love this school!
