I had fun making the kids' costumes this year - with a little help from my Dad on the logo for Emma's :). Halloween seemed to last over a week with all the fun events the kids got to wear costumes to - got plenty of pics to share over the next few posts below....

| Neighbor friends trick-or-treating. Aidan was a bald eagle (no surprise that my bird-lover picked that!) but didn't love the beak I made. Got a shot of him wearing it at at least one of the events though. He was cute either way! |
We sure had fun with pumpkins this year.... 2 out of our 3 creations involved 3 pumpkins put together so yes that adds up to 7 (real) pumpkins altogether. Overkill? Possibly. But on the bright side.... this guy won Emma the grand prize at the orthodontist's office contest! Yes, as in the $100 cash prize, best overall pumpkin - crazy! And there were some pretty awesome entries, too. But we did notice we were the only ones to incorporate the Garn-Mason logo. All we can say is, know your judges ;).

| Aidan's entry - super cute! |
And for the school pumpkin display - Emma came up with another 3-in-1 idea....
Happy Halloween!
The costumes and the pumpkins look fantastic! Best over-all pumpkin -- way to go, Emma! And Aidan's is adorable!
