Fall Break Trip - part 1

We took a quick family getaway during Fall Break, just up north to the Flagstaff area -- the highlight was seeing all the fall colors!!  So beautiful!  Gotta share even though pics don't really capture it....

This one was my fav.  I thought it had Christmas-card family photo written all over it, but it was not to be.... the sunshine right on our faces was just not working out.  Oh well, it was amazing anyway!

Emma's into neon colors right now and this tree proved that God is, too.

 

 

Spent a great afternoon/evening at the Lowell Observatory!

 

Kids got to help move a huge telescope during one of the presentations...

And we got to look through some of the instruments that were used to discover Pluto!

The kids love staying in hotels, so cute to see them all excited :).

 

Between these & Bearizona (separate post) it was a fun trip! So nice to have Chris & the kids off school for a week and get a little down-time -- and thanks mom & dad for taking them for an over-night mid-week too, they had a blast!
