I loved helping out with this field trip with Emma's ELP class. They did a unit on the physics of sound and this was an awesome way to wrap up -- the MIM is really an amazing place!

| The museum is laid out by continent, and each (huge) room has exhibits from tons of different countries in that continent. The kids learned where the country is, what the instruments look & sound like, and lots about the history of music in that country. They had everything from very old African drums to Louis Armstrong's first trumpet to (very popular) exhibits on Elvis and Taylor Swift. |
