Mother's Day & a few more...

You know it's gonna be good when your day starts before even getting out of bed....

We celebrated Baby Sophia's dedication day at Central, with lots of family -

And then had a great party over at Becky's house -

This one's not from Mother's Day but she's a pretty special lady even so.... this is Betty, 77, who faithfully joins our Highland School Moms In Prayer group and lifts up our kiddos by name with us once a week even though she has no real connection to Highland - just loves to serve in this way.  She is incredible and we are so blessed to have her!  Here we are on our last day for this year -

And in other totally unrelated news, Aidan got to pick an animal for a school project which is a big deal for my animal-lover.  I wondered what he'd pick... cheetah, peregrine falcon, maybe? No, on that particular day he felt inclined to sign up to do pigeon.  Yes, PIGEON.  One may ask why but we ended up having a great time making this together.  He was supposed to include pics & facts on the back which was easy for us - grab the camera and head outside!  How cool are we to have actual footage, right??
