Having Chris & the kids home for 2 weeks was awesome..... just what we all needed, a little break from it all to breathe and have fun together :). The first week was full of family celebrations and visits with out-of-towners.... so good to stop and just celebrate Jesus, cook & enjoy great food, and also catch up with old friends! Kept us busy but happy. The second week was more restful - filled with new games to play, parks, puzzles, grandparent time, movies, and wearing PJ's til noon.
This will seem random but here's all of the above, in pictures....
First, Christmas with family on all sides....
| Christmas service with Grandma Carmen & Uncle Sloppy & Miranda |
| Christmas morning.... enjoying some fun gifts! |
| The royal mess |
| More gifts & lunch with Granna & Papa |
| Fun times with the Pulsipher side at Sue & Jerry's |
| Christmas with Grandma Carmen... |
| Emma & Tata |
| Amy from CO holding Misty & Brandon's little one, Luka (4 mos). Not many other pictures from the Pavlovic side celebration but we sure had a great time as always :). |
Also that week, time with friends.....
| "The gals" from youth group days.... so glad we are all still in touch! Great to get together and gab for hours while Mary was in town! |
| We shared our "Living Nativity" tradition with these fun friends (and their parents, and Granna & Papa too). They loved the live outdoor show and especially the huge camel. These 5 have so much fun together! |
| And these guys.... we got together with some couples from "way back" in our Young Marrieds Sunday School class! Guess we're not so young anymore, and don't live as close by, but it was sure great to see what all has gone on in the last 9 years (pictured above). This is just 4 of the families! We were gathering to celebrate one of the girls' baptism - such an answer to prayer! We're excited for you, Ashlynn! |
And some down time around the house.....
| Plenty of time for this.... |
| ...and a little of this.... |
| ....and time to start and finish this..... a 500! Go Emma! |
| And then there's this guy to keep up smiling. We've learned when someone wants their art put on the fridge, we'll just have to make it fit somehow :). |
Hope you had a Merry Christmas too!
