Snow Trip!

We had a blast up in the snow this past weekend.... so great to get away as a family and just enjoy this side of God's creation not too far from home....

This is me on the road up getting so excited at the first sight of snow way off on the mountains... yes I take pictures of things like that! :)

Both kids REALLY got flying fast down the hills!

And later on that day - we found ourselves in this beautiful, quiet area around sunset. We let the kids roam off (and do whatever kids do in the woods... I think they need times like that!).

We found tons of cool rocks for their collections - like this one -
