Pinetop trip

We had a great time last week in Pinetop, Chris' co-worker was so kind to let us use their cabin - it was just a perfect fit for us and SO nice to get out of the heat for awhile!  We spent a lot of the time just hanging out as a family playing games, reading, hiking around, etc.  The kids had a blast and since the cabin had both an upstairs AND bunk beds, it was just the greatest place ever! :) Whole bunch of pics of course....

Lots of games & Lego time in the cozy living room...

Loved the huge deck out back
This was our little friend who visited often.  Either he was really brave, or something was wrong with him, because he let us get close enough to pet him..... kinda weird. The kids thought it was neat though :).

This was a neighboring cabin and the kids insisted I send a pic to Granna & Papa since it's made out of "REAL Lincoln Logs!!"

We went to the lake a few times....

Aidan's duck-feeding method: a little for them.....

...and a little for me....

Emma's so into puzzles lately and there was a 300-piecer calling her name...

She did it!!  Way to go Emma!

The other big thrill for some reason.... banister rides for all the stuffed animals.  At this age, that spells hours of entertainment.

On our way home, enjoying the cool breeze and awesome view at the Mogollon Rim

And since we made her stop to take this picture....

...she was sure to make Daddy stop for this one. :)
