My boy & his bugs

The kids have been loving the spring weather lately, spending tons of time outside at parks or bike riding & tree climbing.  Aidan's been enjoying his bug catcher as he calls it (Emma has too actually) and puts a lot of effort into catching bugs of any kind.  And no they don't come inside the house as pets and he has to let them go before bedtime, but he sure has fun running around to ALL the neighbors to show off his latest catch.  A real live grasshopper was the best yet.  They got a fly once but after all the shaking from running around with the bug catcher, it was barely clinging to life so that was not as much fun.
On a happier note, their little flower garden is doing great!  They water it faithfully and have been so excited to see some growth -- I'm sure you were anxious for an update since the post about seed planting so here's some pics :).
