Emma's class has outstanding parent support.... tons of moms & dads volunteer for all the events and yesterday we had 16 of us come.... so including the teacher and student-teacher, we had 18 adults for 27 kids! My "group" to supervise was just Emma & Brandon -- pretty easy! Brandon is a great kid, very high-energy but tons of fun (he RAN between each exhibit... RAN. Did I mention it was 97 degrees?) We saw other groups from our class often and hung out with them for short bits (hit the petting zoo with Sarah's group, and pet the stingrays with Mrs. Hultz) but the 3 of us mostly set our own agenda and both kids got to see all their favorites without waiting for a large group to keep up. Loved that!
Emma wasn't quite as adventurous as Brandon for this one, but he was SO excited about the camel ride, he didn't mind going alone -
The heat only slowed us down a little, during our last half-hour or so.... this break lasted all of 2 minutes....
Gotta include some animal pics of course -
Cute little spring chicks -
The huge Kimono Dragon, Brandon's first must-see...
And one for Aesop :).....
