Girl Scout Campfire Night

Tonight Emma's Daisy Scout troop had a fun event... since they don't actually "camp" at this age their leaders still gave them the experience of it, in one girls' backyard! All the moms stayed and we roasted hot dogs & s'mores (a first for Emma :), they learned all about being prepared for a trip to the woods (what to bring, etc), made bags full of safety & first-aid items, and talked about why we might need these. We all went home smiling and smelling like a campfire.... this is what Girl Scouts is all about, right?
