Fall Break Trip 2017

We had a great time up north in Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, and Out of Africa!

Beautiful Sedona...

We hiked around the "Slide Rock" area, but didn't get wet - way too cold for that in Oct! Pretty hiking trails around there, and not crowded at all. The trails took us through the woods, the apple orchard, and up to some great viewpoints of Oak Creek from up high.

 We hiked a long way along Rim Trail and did a short excursion down into Bright Angel Trail too -

And some elk that wandered into the busy area right outside the visitor's center!

And our last stop, Out of Africa - 

The Safari tour was fun - lots of close-ups with the animals. The giraffes were the friendliest!
