Catching Up

Here's some highlights from late Feb/early March to share....

Celebrating with good friend Autumn at her baptism!  Her mom Kelly is in the Highland prayer group with me so I get the privilege of praying for Autumn often... what a gift to see God at work in her life!!
Kelly, Autumn, and Kim (Children's Minister)

More celebrating at Autumn's Baptism/Birthday party after the service :)
And in Girl Scout news.... we are just wrapping up Cookie Season.  Emma beat her personal best and is our troop's top seller again this year... many thanks to Daddy and his high school students ;).
Here's a few of our girls at a store-front booth -

Also in early March.... another round of apartment set-up with our church's Refugee Ministry.  Our family's role is to manage the storage area used for donated furnishings and organize the team on move-in day shortly before a refugee family arrives in the US. It's always amazing to watch the Lord provide for these familes!

Emma & Chris sorting items at storage before the trailers arrive

Starting the apartment.... my hands were too full to get many pics that day but we had a big team and finished in record time :).
The amazing Judi... our team leader who recruits & trains teams to befriend the families long-term. She & Roger have been at this for years!
In school news.... Aidan's class had a blast with "Potato Math Day".... practicing all their math skills at potato-related stations, including sampling flavored potato chips to make a bar-graph of everyone's favorties :).

And later that day.... Emma's class loved their track & field day.....

Getting set to compete in the water-balloon toss
Emma just barely missed qualifying to represent her class in the relay race but I was so proud of her great attitude as we cheered on her friends together.  Field day was a good source of "life lessons" when I was little, too :)
 Thanks for stopping by!
