Summer's here...

.... and so far we've done a LOT to get out & enjoy our time off school!  Maybe that's because I was sick for part of May and got tired of being home-bound. :)  Chris is working for a few weeks here (grading research papers from home) and the heat wasn't too terrible til the end of the week, so the kids & I have had all kinds of fun this past week.  Definitely plenty of down time thrown in too, but we've found some fun ways to fill our days....

Fun outing to Makutu's Island play area with the Girl Scouts - kids always have a blast at that place (and no, Aidan wasn't the only brother to come along, there were 2 others which was fun :).

And Aidan sporting the new smile -- he's so proud of getting this top tooth out all on his own....

They've had a full week to celebrate summer's arrival.... few park trips while the temps were reasonable, get-togethers with friends, swimming, museum day, etc. There may be some long days ahead, but so far summer's been all kinds of fun :).
